मोदी नेचरल्स लिमिटेड (एमएनएल) ने अपनी पूर्ण स्वामित्व वाली सहायक कंपनी, मोदी बायोटेक प्राइवेट लिमिटेड (एमबीपीएल) के माध्यम से आज रायपुर, छत्तीसगढ़ में अपनी अत्याधुनिक इथेनॉल डिस्टिलरी के उद्घाटन की घोषणा की है। इस प्रतिष्ठित उद्घाटन समारोह में कंपनी के सीएमडी श्री अनिल मोदी, बीके इंजीनियरिंग के एमडी श्री विजय गुप्ता और एमएनएल के डायरेक्टर्स श्री सुधीर हलवासिया, श्री आलोक गर्ग, श्रीमती अदिति मोदी और श्री अक्षय मोदी की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति दर्ज की गई।

 

उक्त इथेनॉल प्लांट एक स्थायी भविष्य की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण प्रगति का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है। यह प्लांट एमएनएल की सहायक कंपनी- एमबीपीएल की एक सार्थक पहल है। यह अत्याधुनिक डिस्टिलरी 210 केएलडी (एक हजार लीटर प्रति दिन) की सुदृढ़ उत्पादन क्षमता और 5.5 मेगावाट सह-उत्पादन वाले पॉवर प्लांट का दावा करती है। इस तरह, यह प्लांट जैव ईंधन परिदृश्य पर गहरी छाप छोड़ने के लिए तत्पर है। पहले चरण में इस प्लांट का संचालन 130 केएलडी पर करने की योजना है, जिसमें 150 करोड़ रु. का पूँजीगत व्यय और 100 करोड़ रु. का कर्ज होगा।

इथेनॉल मिश्रित पेट्रोल (ईबीपी) कार्यक्रम के साथ संबंध पर प्रकाश डालते हुए, केंद्र सरकार द्वारा एमबीपीएल को इथेनॉल उत्पादन के लिए सैद्धांतिक मंजूरी प्रदान की गई है। इसका नेतृत्व भारत के दूरदर्शी प्रधान मंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा किया जा रहा है। इसके साथ ही, छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार के साथ हस्ताक्षरित समझौता ज्ञापन इस क्राँतिकारी प्रोजेक्ट के प्रति कंपनी की प्रतिबद्धता को और भी अधिक सुदृढ़ करने का काम करता है। उद्योग की निविदा अवधि नवंबर से अक्टूबर तक परिचालित होती है।

 

सरकार के निरंतर समर्थन और ईबीपी कार्यक्रम जैसे कार्यक्रमों के साथ भारतीय जैव ईंधन क्षेत्र, शीघ्रता से विस्तार के लिए तत्पर है। इंटरनेशनल एनर्जी एजेंसी (आईईए) के अनुसार, वर्ष 2026 तक भारत संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका और ब्राजील को पीछे छोड़ देगा और दुनिया का तीसरा सबसे बड़ा इथेनॉल बाजार बन जाएगा। यह उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि न सिर्फ भारत की ऊर्जा सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने, बल्कि कार्बन उत्सर्जन को कम करने और एक स्थायी भविष्य के सृजन में एमबीपीएल के इथेनॉल प्लांट जैसी सार्थक पहल की महत्ता पर बखूबी प्रकाश डालती है।
